Celebrating – 2016 Election Results

Joe Belcher & Family

Thank you to family, friends and buncombe county for our win tonight. I thank the Lord for the privilege to serve.

Welcome

IMG_9359Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. I am running for my  second term as Buncombe County Commissioner in District 3. District 3 includes the communities of Arden, Biltmore, Bent Creek, Enka, Candler and Leicester, NC. I am asking for the support of my Republican, Independent and Democrat friends on November 8th.
I strongly believe that the combination of education and infastructure are the building blocks for economic development and jobs. I will continue my support meeting the educational and recreational needs of our children of Buncombe County while protecting our majestic mountains and “mountain values”.

Joe Supports Buncombe County Students

Joe has never missed an opportunity to encourage your children and grandchildren to be all that they can be. He advocated for the construction of District 3’s new Enka Intermediate School. He also supported building Asheville Middle School, Isaac Dickson Elementary, as well as our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math High School. He championed the need for teacher assistant pay increases and supported teacher supplements and county employees. As your commissioner, Joe has refused to take any personal pay increases.

Joe-Belcher-for-Commissioner

Joe Belcher knows what he wants to represent as a politician: Christian and family values.

“The most important thing about me is my Christian faith and my devotion to my family: my wife, children and grandchildren,” he said. “And I think we’re at a point in the country where, as we build a better future, we can’t let go of the … mountain values of the past … the rich love that people have for the beauty of the mountains and the Christian heritage that it represents. I’ve always loved the modest life of a mountain family.”
